The Pop Table

Elegant, modern and extremely versatile, the Pop Table is meant to blend into any décor, from modern family homes to busy offices or commercial spaces. It was designed by Nicholas Karlovasitis and Sarah Gibson, founders of DesignByThem, a design brand that aims to promote the work of Australian designers. Inspired by the iconic Australian paddle pop stick, the table features clean lines and tight curves in a compact design.

“We wanted the Pop Table to look light and welcoming. As well as having smooth rolled corners, we also dipped the feet in clear rubber for protection and to make it seem like the table is standing on it toes in a seamless, unbroken appearance,” says Nicholas Karlovasitis. Apart from looking stylish, the table is also versatile and available in various colors and finishes, to suit different environments. The timber top version is made with FSC-certified oak or ash wood. For the outdoors or commercial areas with high traffic, the Pop Table comes with an 80% recycled HDPE plastic top which is durable and UV stable, maintaining the colors intact even under direct sunlight. All versions feature a powder-coated stainless steel base and come in large or small sizes. Custom colors and sizes also available on request, opening up an even wider range of interior design possibilities.
