The Q1 Lounge Chair

ODESD2’s “Q1 Lounge Chair” draws inspiration from the geodesic dome, an iconic shape named by Richard Buckminster Fuller. Reinterpreting the same architecture that can be seen towering as “Space Earth” at Epcot, designers Zbroy Svyatoslav and Dmitry Bulgako fashioned this steel lounge chair. Lightweight but strong because of its partial-dome frame, the chair can be lifted and moved throughout one’s house or office. For comfort, the chair is upholstered with felt, chenille, flock, and hollowfiber, bringing warmth to the the industrial look.
