The RF Apartment by Joao Tiago Aguiar

The RF Apartment once had a former life of business, meetings and the usual activities of a bustling office. Yet,now it’s been transformed into a light filled loft in Lisbon, Portugal. Residing on the top floor of a building on the Avenida Rodrigo da Fonseca, the space brims with light and fluidity. Joao Tiago Aguiar remodeled it by destroying everything inside except for its structural components. Large windows replace its former small openings and open into the outside wooden terrace and the large balcony that surrounds the whole apartment. A clear separation between the sleeping and living areas is created by the two-toned cabinet which also encourages the contrasting tones of the space.
