The Sens Pen By Vergeco

The SENS pen was designed by VERGEco to provide a modern tool for writing, creating, and self-expression. The finished product beautifully exemplifies Antoine de Saint-Exupery’s famous quote “perfection is finally attained not when there is no longer anything to add, but when there is no longer anything to take away.” Inspired by a vintage pen previously owned by the designer’s grandfather, this modern version pushes the limits of simplicity further, reducing the curved lines to an elongated teardrop shape.

Elegant, lightweight, and minimalist, the pen is made from only two aluminum parts, with a spring and a refill hiding inside. The twisting cap has a textured finish that serves a dual purpose: it complements and enhances the smooth surface of the body, but it also offers perfect adherence. The pen is compatible with the popular Parker-style G2 refills, and it combines the convenience of a ballpoint pen and the writing characteristics provided by a classic fountain pen. Cleverly designed, the packaging can be used as a desk stand, with two versions available in light maple wood and darker walnut. Portable sleeves made from vegetable tanned leather boasting hand stitched details feature a similar minimalist design, and like a veritable artisan item, they will gain a richer tint as the time goes by, becoming one-of-a-kind and full of character. Made for “thinkers, solvers and creators, for those who are changing this world”, SENS’ minimalism is meant to offer a simple tool which can be used to create, to innovate, and to inspire. The Kickstarter campaign to gather funds for the manufacturing process has already surpassed its goal, but you can still contribute to gain access to advantageous backers’ packages.
