The Transocean Chronograph 1915 is a Piece of History

New from Breitling, the Transocean Chronograph 1915 is a centennial design honoring the brand’s early chronograph, the first wristwatch with an independent pushpiece positioned at two o’clock. The 2015 version features an updated single pusher with a patent-pending double column-wheel system that both recalls and improves upon the original. Excellently engineered and pedigreed, the dual-register chronograph boasts a steel case, a vintage-inspired dial, and a transparent sapphire crystal back, as well as COSC chronometer certification. The watch houses a hand-wound mechanical movement with three hands and a date aperture. Produced in a limited edition run of 1,915 pieces, the collectible timepiece comes with one’s choice of a leather, crocodile, or Ocean Classic steel mesh strap.
