The Useless Machine

If there’s a ghost in the machine, it’s clearly a prankster. Designed by Jason Allemann, this self-deactivating box utilizes a wealth of techniques to stay defiantly turned off. The functionality of a device is measured in its benefit to the user. By this measure, (and to indulge in some anthropomorphism) this machine revels in it’s dysfunction-ality.
