A conceptual project created by designer Meike Harde and produced by Klein & More , Time is Dancing imagines a more personal and elegant way of looking at time. The German design replaces the usual straight-line movement with an image of a ballerina. As time passes, the hour-hand torso and minute-hand leg of the figure tick along the acrylic glass face, taking on various poses and apparent leaps. The realistic image stands out against the wall clockâs unassuming white background and ash wood ground plate. Balancing intrigue and simplicity, the timepiece embodies qualities of ballet itself.
