Tomás Saraceno’s Solar Bell

Solar Bell is architecture in the sky using the latest in sustainable wind technology. Argentinian artist Tomás Saraceno envisions a future where designs take flight, as in this 5 meter tall sculpture made of reflective panels and lightweight carbon fiber tubing. His goal is to facilitate a much grander scale where people can stand within the structure hovering over the earth by more than 60 meters. The pyramid glitters wildly in the sunlight, presenting instant bling to the horizon. Flying throughout the month of August 2013 as part of Portscapes 2 in Rotterdam the Netherlands.
