Introducing a new way to organize, display decor, and bring useful art into your home with Undergraduate Shelving. While studying in Sydney, the challenges of dorm living inspired British designer Andy Martin to build these block systems. Now he has brought this vision to us, making beautiful possibilities for each of our unique living arrangements.
The random color blocks encourage a playful spirit, making each creation personal. Who wouldn’t love a little firecracker of bright color streaming through your apartment. It’s just what your eyes need especially in tight spaces. They are sophisticated yet casual. Andy Martin’s Undergraduate Shelving is constructed of individual timber blocks wrapped in lacquer of vibrant white, bright red, navy, true green, pale pink, and yellow. They are secured by rubber pads placed in grooves atop each block, a genius system so simple anyone could handle building their own modular shelf.
