Developed in part from the observations of a bird’s foot, the Vi lamp series by Linda Falang Design and Ane Domaas imitates life with a quaint simplicity. Mimicking the balance and build of a crow, each lamp subsists upon a kind of tripod constructed from oak, stainless steel, and polycarbonate. The lighting series consists of the standard Vilja, its miniature clone, Vesla, and the shade-only Var. The first two floor versions have the appearance of bowing avian shapes, caught in contemplation with their LED eyes.
