New from the innovative Italian brand .exnovo, the Volume and Maggiolina collections will show next week at Maison et Objet. Both lamps make use of 3D printing to advance the possibilities in futuristic lighting.

Volume is a sculptural polyamide light diffuser designed by Marco Lafiandra. The stacked form has a textured white exterior shell and reflective panels of bronzed stainless steel. Gently casting light against the wall, Volume is all about silhouette and resembles the bars of a stereo system. This distinctive design is intended for use with LED stripes and would be a perfect addition to a chic restaurant or club.
Maggiolina is a small table or wall lamp designed by Alessandro Zambelli. Referencing the book and the process Metamorphosis, the lighting is envisioned as a beetle transforming into a lamp. The perforated oblong lampshade resembles a beetle’s shell, while the handmade ceramic base is traditional in form. The monochrome design comes in soft shades of primary colors.
