Window Watching by Michael Wolf

What would you say, you know, if you discovered someone was photographing you from the next building over? Would you feel invaded or honored? I can’t believe they were watching me! – or- Wow, they were watching me! It’s all in how you look at it.

Photographer Michael Wolf has created a series called “Window Watching” as the ultimate peeping tom. The full view appears to be a harmless shot of an apartment complex. Although, with a closer look and some zoomed in fames reveal people minding their own business within the privacy of their home. Too bad they never shut their curtains. They are found vulnerable watching tv, lounging, talking on the phone, doing some push ups just to mention a few. These pictures expose individuals in their personal comfort zones, uninhibited by the public eye, as uncharged as we get around those that know us best…our families, ourselves, and now apparently the guy across the way.

Allison Parker is a proud stay at home mom maintaining a full schedule kissing boo boos and passing out hugs just because. Her days many times are spent between the garden and the kitchen. From a journey of learning whole food eating habits, she's taken on the challenges of baking bread, muffins and cakes from scratch and filling the cellar shelves with scores of her own canned goods each year. Writing is one of those things she does because its part of who she is. That and it's a nice break from the never ending work that comes with raising a family.
