Wooden Bike Grips for a Better World

Based in Haifa, Israel, Nisnas Industries is a Middle Eastern cycling brand with more than 20 years invested in craftsmanship. Their latest product, the Daily, is a comfortable pair of bike grips made to last as long as a steel frame bike. Combining combines aircraft-grade aluminum with brass fasteners and hardwood, the grips come in maple or mahogany. No glue or lock rings are needed to secure the press-fit design, and the quality fasteners leave no mark on the handlebars.

The grips are available at Nisnas and proceeds go to support Nisnas Industries’ surfboard building workshop, a designer’s response to conflict between Palestine and Israel. The program fosters positivity between Arab and Jewish communities by inviting Arab youth into the studio, where they work with Nisnas Industries’ team to create their own surfboards and ride the waves in the bay.
