Woodspot Table Lamp by Alessandro Zambelli for Seletti

Woodspot is a table lamp loosely inspired by “Empire of Light” by René Magritte. Composed of a base and a hood-like light diffuser, the design provides a focused glow reminiscent of that of a streetlamp, as seen in Magritte’s mid-century oil painting.
The base of the Woodspot is handmade from pine and finished with natural oil. The diffuser comes painted in white or pastel pink or green and can be used with bulbs of up to 60W. Designed by Alessandro Zambelli for Seletti, the lamp will debut at Maison et Objet in September. Photography by Studio Badini Createam
