ZOOTECHNICAL by Joao Loureiro

Space is defined around animal sculptures in their relation to the architecture. Specifically to further explore the “relationship between form and function of the architecture of public and private spaces.” Their presence is firm dressed in stone gray, apart from their true foam construction lightweight and assembled from individual slices. ZOOTECHNICAL by Joao Loureiro includes subjects naturally colored so: a rat, a wolf, a donkey, an elephant and a rhinoceros. Simply staring in their real life sizes, they are arranged smallest to largest. Images courtesy of Galeria Vermelho
