A recipient of the iF Gold Award 2016, this modern take on the classic double edge safety razor boasts a minimalist design and a simple 3 piece construction. Each razor is CNC machined to achieve finely sculpted shapes and clean lines. Completed with a subtle texture and a comfortable handle, Type 15 provides excellent grip, whether dry or wet. The perfectly balanced razor is compatible with regular safety blades and it’s designed to stand the test of time.
Currently, there are two materials to choose from and both have their own distinct features. The solid brass version is heavier and is reminiscent of designs of the past; the surface will gain a gorgeous patina over years of use, while the areas with heavy contact will become brighter. The anodized aluminum model is more lightweight and comes in two finishes, silver gray and black, both meant to maintain their hue and texture intact. Hone also offers a beautiful handmade leather case as an option, so owners can protect their razor at all times, whether at home or while traveling.
