Much like the eclectic apartment where modern design combined with old-time charm, this guesthouse designed by Loft Kolasinski features vintage furniture and lighting as well as custom made pieces, all brought together to create a one-of-a-kind aesthetic. Located in the countryside in Poland, the guesthouse stands at the edge of a forest and is surrounded by ponds, providing an escape from urban living.
Hired to design the guest rooms, bathrooms and common areas, the studio crafted a range of hotel furniture from oiled oak. The custom pieces include tables, benches, bookshelves, as well as beds. The eclectic décor features vintage carpets, lighting and furniture from the 30s and up to the 70s, all of them restored to their former glory. But this place is not only ideal for design lovers. Guests who are analog aficionados will find high-end HiFi audio equipment from the 80s in the living room. Art and other creative details give the space a distinctive charm. Throughout the guesthouse, vintage and modern items create a tasteful and sophisticated interior that is as stylish as it is timeless. Photography by Karolina Bąk.
