A Custom Suzuki DR600 Scrambler

Some custom build projects take the original bike to a completely different direction, both in terms of aesthetics and handling. Others maintain the personality of the motorcycle while enhancing its charisma and adding new elements that push the design to its next natural stage in its aesthetic evolution. For this particular Suzuki DR600 from 1989, the Vintage Addiction Crew workshop preferred to use the latter method, paying homage to the enduro features of the DR600 but taking its look to fierce scrambler territory. The owner wanted a slimmer and lighter bike to explore the mountains of Cataluña and off the beaten paths. This upgraded DR600 has a new Djebel adventure tank, a custom seat, a rebuilt sub-chassis, Montesa rear and front chrome fenders, bear trap rider pegs, and removable SR250 pillion pegs. At the front, the team added new tracker style bars boasting vintage MX grips from the 70s. On the sides, the bike features drilled and polished bespoke covers and an OEM bash plate, while at the rear, matching custom exhaust heat guards enhance the scrambler look. Silver, blue, and black colors complement the polished chrome and matte surfaces beautifully, adding a touch of style to this adventure motorcycle. Images courtesy of Vintage Addiction Crew.
