Allied Makers’ Paragon Pendant: Design, Craftsmanship, and Quality Materials Come Together

The Paragon Pendant by Allied Makers exudes all of the characteristics that the New-York-based company is best known for: geometric simplicity, craftsmanship, and quality materials. Whether oak, walnut, or black in colorway, their newest design, the Paragon Pendant, brings warmth and calm to any space through the use of gentle contours, allowing the wood’s physical attributes to speak for themselves. The prototype featured in the photos was born of the wreckage of Hurricane Sandy, a single piece of wood salvaged from the aftermath.

The company began with the woodworking practices of Ryden Rizzo and has since grown into a multi-disciplinary studio, well-connected within the local art scene of Glen Cove, New York. Currently, light fixtures are their main focus. All the materials have been sourced in the U.S.A.—metal, wood, glass, and different fabrics. Simple yet warm, the Paragon Pendant illuminates what can be accomplished by a group of artists committed to quality, craft, and creativity. Find the fixture online for $945
