As audio brands start to launch wireless in-ear headphone designs, the available options look increasingly more enticing. Audio-Technica’s own version combines the latest technology with modern design. Named ATH-CKR7TW, the earphones feature an integrated amplifier for accurate audio reproduction from the Bluetooth signal. 11mm drivers that have diamond-like carbon coated diaphragms as well as pure iron yokes ensure a crystal-clear sound and high-fidelity audio.
The brass stabilizers minimize resonance, while the housing features dual-layer insulation to separate the electric circuits from the acoustic space. All of these features ensure a superior sound quality with both deep bass and sharp high frequencies. Bluetooth 5.0 and compatibility with aptX improves the quality of the wireless sound further. Other features include a mic and button control for volume adjustments or handling of calls, battery level indication LEDs, support for aptX, AAC, and SBC codecs, and the Audio-Technica Connect app. The battery lasts up to six hours and the carrying case also provides nine hours of power.
