Bambi, Kneeling Table by Caroline Olsson

Norvegian designer Caroline Olsson inspired by the anatomy of the knee joint designed the Bambi table. The location and angle of the table legs, as well as the meeting points of the joints, help keeping the table upright and stable. When the table is folded down and used at the lower level it reminds of a small foal resting in the meadow. Combined with 10″ seat height chairs the Bambi table can be a very safe solution as children’s play table, specially because of its stability when legs are folded in the lower position.
