Beyond Object’s Curvo & Orbis Clocks

Creative wall clocks designed as minimalist decorative objects you can easily customize.

What if wall clocks could be more than just practical items that tell the time? London-based design label Beyond Object explores this concept with two timepieces that are as imaginative as they are elegantly minimalist. Curvo and Orbis provide a creative twist on standard wall clocks. They double as decorative pieces that become architectural objects in the landscape of residential interiors. While both timepieces share the same clean lines, pastel colors, and versatile minimalist aesthetic that look great in any décor, they have different designs.

Curvo takes its name from the Italian word for “curved” and features a flexible construction. The user can place the clock on a rounded surface, a column, or along a wall edge. Alternatively, the user can curve the dial inward or outward on a shelf. Orbis draws attention at a glance with a sculptural design. It features a three-dimensional suspended ring that seemingly floats as it frames the dial and creates a play on light and shadow around the timepiece. Naturally, both designs establish focal points in a room.

Apart from their creative design, the two clocks also allow the user to customize them. Beyond Object includes three sets of hour hands with different shapes in each package, providing a convenient solution to choose a favorite design. Plus, Curvo allows the user to curve the dial in various ways, while Orbis features a free rotational fitting to select the angle of the dial.
