Created with safety in mind, the practical Eclipse light provides urban cyclists, runners and city dwellers with a convenient way to stand out at night or in low lighting conditions. Designed by Swedish brand Bookman, the wearable bike lights easily clip to a bike, backpack or even a jacket or bag. “Not only cyclists need to be seen in traffic but also runners and pedestrians. We wanted to create a light for all street users – one that people would actually wear. With hard work on usability and appearance we now have a visibility product that has the potential of actually saving lives,” says Victor Kabo, co-founder of Bookman.

The design takes its name from the half-circle shape of the glass which becomes bright while the light is in use. Suitable for both a front and a rear mount, Eclipse comes with 3 white LEDs as well as two red LEDs. The water resistant, wearable light recharges via USB, lasting for an impressive 60 hours on one full charge. An empty battery also charges completely in only 1.5 hours. Ideal for cyclists and runners or those who want to be more visible while walking through the city at night, Eclipse comes in three colors.
