Bukowskis, the top Nordic art business, is hosting a contemporary sale auction on May 23 from 10 am to 1 pm at the Berzelii Park 1 in Stockholm, Sweden and also online. The event will showcase the fabulous work of women artists among their top sales. Since their birth in 1870 by Polish nobleman Henryk Budowski, they have held the best auctions in Sweden for the past 140 years. Some astonishing work featured in this event include the works of Swedish artist Mamma Andersson, Maria Friberg and Linn Fernstrom.
“The gender of the artist doesn’t matter to me. But looking at our auctions in recent years I can make the following conclusion: Fantastic women artists sell,” says Michael Storåkers, CEO.
