Carhartt WIP x JOURNAL STANDARD Furniture Line

This year, Japanese casual wear brand Journal Standard turns 20. To celebrate in style, the company launched a special collection of furniture and accessories, created in collaboration with workwear giant Carhartt WIP. The Detroit-based company teamed up many times with other companies to create magic, but the Carhartt WIP x JOURNAL STANDARD Furniture Line may be one of their most ambitious projects yet. The collection features the US brand’s signature light brown color and canvas covers as well as the logos of the two companies.

Interior design lovers can choose between several items. They range from the large three-seater Smith Sofa to the Chinon Chair and the Rodez Chair. Smaller products include an accent rug and a cushion. Minimalist as well as utilitarian and cool, the collection ultimately embodies the style of both brands. It would certainly look right at home in a modern décor. The Carhartt WIP x JOURNAL STANDARD Furniture Line is currently available in Japan, with prices ranging from around $60 to $1950.
