Creative Furniture Design – Color Wood Table Series

A refined blend of traditional craftsmanship, modern furniture design, and cutting-edge techniques, the Color Wood collection makes a lasting impression with its distinctive appearance. The series of tables and accessories was designed by Dutch studio Scholten & Baijings for Japanese brand Karimoku New Standard. Multifaceted bases that pay homage to yatoi-sanetsugi – an artisanal Japanese technique of joining two pieces of wood – combine with innovative wood printing techniques, bringing an artistic accent to modern living spaces. Beautifully crafted, the collection celebrates heritage and contemporary design. The eye-catching pieces stand out in any room and decor.

The collection includes plain finishes as well as tables with dot or line patterns in muted or vibrant colors. A complete range, Color Wood features anything from large dining tables to smaller coffee tables or side tables. Matching stools, platters, and bins are also available. Customers can choose between various sizes and finishes to find the perfect furniture design for their home. Photographs© Karimoku New Standard.
