Ameé Allsop was born in Sydney, Australia and raised in New York. After receiving a masters degree in Architecture, she worked with celebrated architects such as Matthew Baird Architects and AIA Gold Medal recipient Peter Stutchbury. She opened her eponymous design studio in New York in 2013. The designer’s portfolio features a strong preference for minimalism and exploring material richness. In her quest for simplicity, Ameé Allsop creates thoughtful interiors, furniture, and products that evoke a feeling of peace. Form, purity, and material remain in perfect balance in order to bring a sense of calm into living spaces. The designer’s first furniture collection embodies all of these concepts while also celebrating the serenity of New York City’s East End.
