Cabinet maker, artist and designer Benjamin Nordsmark draws upon a vast range of skills to create his work. After studying cabinetry, he completed a degree in Furniture Design at the Royal Danish Academy of Art where he later received his Masters of Fine Art degree in 2011. A hands-on creator, Nordsmark crafts sculptural furniture pieces in limited editions and artworks that have a strong character and visual presence. Thought-provoking and bold, his designs always have a story behind them and they often aim to challenge preconceived ideas. Apart from being published in international publications, Benjamin Nordsmark’s work has also been exhibited in prestigious locations, including at the Malmø Design Center, The National Museum of Denmark, Kyoto Municipal Museum of Fine Art in Japan, and at Ex-Chiesa di San Francesco in Como, Italy.
