Borgman | Lenk is made of two creative minds: Anna Borgman, who was born in Denmark in 1975, and Candy Lenk, born in Germany in 1974. The two artists have both studied architecture and have taught at prestigious schools of art in Europe. Their collaboration began with an installation, the Architectural Intervention project completed in Berlin in 2007. Since then, the duo has created various art installations that combine architectural elements and contrasting features, whether visual or conceptual, redefining the familiar to lend it a new meaning in a different context. In 2016, Borgman | Lenk won the first prize in the Art-In-Architecture competition with their project for a greenhouse space in the new building of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change UNFCCC, in Bonn.
