Camarim Architects

Camarim was founded by Vasco Matias Correia and Patrícia Ferreira de Sousa in 2007.
Their designs encompass a wide range of briefs, budgets and scales, on new buildings, existing buildings and product design.
Their work is published in magazines, books and documentaries from America to Asia and has been the subject of academic studies in Australia, Brazil, Portugal, United Kingdom, Switzerland, among others.
They received the 40 Under 40 distinction by the Chicago Athenaeum in 2016, the Baku Architecture Award in 2015 and the ASCER Award in 2014, and were nominated for the Ibero-American Award for Architecture and Urbanism in 2016 and the A.Prize in 2014, among others.
