Industrial Design
After studying art and graphic design at Warwickshire College, Daniel Schofield decided to explore a different field. He completed a carpentry apprenticeship, which involved anything from building offices to restoring historic buildings. With his passion for design ignited, he decided to continue his studies, completing a degree in furniture and product design at Sheffield Hallam University. These distinct set of complementing skills allow Daniel Schofield to create products that merge artistic sensibilities, graphic design influences, and traditional craftsmanship. His designs favor minimalism and reduction in a quest to find the essence of an object. Timeless and functional as well as understated and versatile, the designer’s furniture and products have the power of seamlessly taking a place of honor in modern interiors.
