Francesco Bolis

Francesco Bolis (1980) is an architectural and interior photographer born and currently based in Milan.
After working as an assistant for several photographers he began his freelance career in 2010. His peculiar interest in architecture, interiors, urban and industrial landscapes led him to a continuous and ongoing cooperation with Driade, for which he curated projects, art direction and graphic design for the latest catalogues and related photographic section in the exhibition for Milano design week 2012 and 2013.
Over his career he has reproduced and documented travels, portraits, architectures, sculptures and installation works. In September 2010 his photographs at MAXXI – National Museum of XXI century arts, were chosen for the permanent exhibition at MAXXI 21, published on various magazines and newspapers and in the MAXXI 2012 advertising campaign.
His work has appeared in specialized and covers of magazines such as Ideat, RUM id, ELLE DECOR US, ELLE wonen, ELLE DECORATION Russia, AD, Interior+design, among others and moreover in various art books, catalogues, periodicals for leading Italian and foreign editors as Electa and Phaidon Press. In June 2011, Vitra Design Museum selected his image for a temporary exhibition dedicated to architecture in XXI century.
