Hallgeir Homstvedt

Norwegian designer Hallgeir Homstvedt was born in 1977. He moved to Australia to study design, graduating with a BA in Industrial Design from the Newcastle University in 2006. After his graduation, he worked with innovative design studio Norway Says and completed freelance design work. In 2009, he founded his own studio, Hallgeir Homstvedt Design. Based in Oslo, the studio completes furniture, product, and interior design projects for Norwegian and international clients. Created to engage the user’s curiosity, Hallgeir Homstvedt’s designs are also tactile and showcase a masterful use of complementing materials and textures. The designer has exhibited his work in Oslo, London, New York City, Tokyo, and Milan.
