Ivan Colominas was born in 1978 in Barcelona. He studied industrial design at the CEU Cardenal Herrera University in Valencia where he also completed a master’s degree in transportation design. After founding his own studio, he started working with many international companies from different industries, which led to a highly diverse portfolio. His work includes everything from automotive design to home accessories and furniture design; from marble tables to tennis bags designed for pro players, marble sushi sets, and toys inspired by popular street artists. Strongly influenced by 20th-century iconography, Ivan Colominas creates products that often combine digital and analog features. His work has been published worldwide in design magazines and has received six Red Dot Design Awards.
