Jesse Ede is a South African designer based in Cape Town. Born in a creative environment, the designer has always been immersed in the world of art and design. He has traveled the world for years working for various companies, including an Antiguan boat-building workshop where he sharpened his carpentry and wood crafting skills. Captivated by organic, raw materials, Jesse Ede creates powerful objects that link the sophisticated world of contemporary product design with nature. The designer establishes a dialogue between raw, organic materials and man-made techniques, with striking results. His work has gained recognition for its sculptural aesthetic and distinctive celestial influences. Jesse Ede’s designs have been exhibited in art galleries in Cape Town, at Design Miami, and at Christie’s Design Auction in London.
