Joanna Laajisto is a Finnish product designer and interior architect. After completing her studies in the US and working in Los Angeles at prestigious architecture firm Gensler, she moved back to Finland to establish her own studio. Founded in 2010, the Helsinki-based Studio Joanna Laajisto completes projects in a wide range of fields; from residential, hospitality, and office interiors to furniture and concept design. Believing that good design is the best form of sustainability, the firm creates minimalist spaces and products that are as effortlessly elegant as they are timeless. The studio has completed work throughout Finland as well as various European countries. In 2018, Joanna Laajisto was named Interior Architect of the Year by the Finnish Association of Interior Architects.
