Taiwanese design studio Kopus was founded in 2015 by designers Ken Liu and Koma Yang. The studio’s name blends the words “Kindle” and “Opus” to create the “Light The Masterpiece” concept. This refers to re-igniting stories and cultural values by reinterpreting them through a unique design perspective, while also highlighting the essence of the product in a quest to create perfection. Kopus’ varied projects display the studio’s multidisciplinary approach to design, with products ranging from handmade bikes to wristwatches and carpets. The studio also collaborates with other brands and international companies, offering both co-branding and consultation services.
