Léonard Kadid is a French architect and product designer. He completed his studies at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne in Switzerland and at the École d’Architecture de la Ville et des Territoires in Paris. After his graduation, he worked as an architect for well-known studios, including Herzog & de Meuron and Caesar Zumthor in Basel, Switzerland. He established his eponymous studio in Paris. Working on a diverse range of projects that include product design, architecture, and exhibition space design, Léonard Kadid focuses on structural experimentation to explore essential forms. His work is minimalist and understated yet also idiosyncratic. The designer has exhibited his work around the world, including at Maison & Object in Paris, the Lake Como Design Fair in Italy, and the Beijing International Design Triennial in Beijing, China. Léonard Kadid currently lives and works in Paris, France.
