Lucas Faber is a Berlin-based designer. After completing an industrial design degree at the Darmstadt University of Applied Science, he started working in various design studios in Berlin and Stockholm. In 2018, he established his own practice. Although primarily focused on furniture and product design, Lucas Faber also completes 3D modeling projects along with concepts and visuals for a wide range of clients. His work often offers unconventional takes on classic designs. For example, a solid wood chair that re-imagines traditional proportions with a fresh twist while offering a wider range of movement. Or a table that draws inspiration from architectural structures but surprises with a set of three, creatively designed legs. While they combine simple forms and clean lines, Lucas Faber’s designs are idiosyncratic and bold as well as minimal but full of character.
