Originally from Belgium, Quentin de Coster began his career as a freelance industrial designer while studying at the prestigious La Cambre. Fascinated by fabrication and manufacturing processes, he interned at Maison Vervloet before collaborating with legacy brands like Ligne Roset, Audo and Hermès, across both mass and luxury product categories. In 2017, de Coster moved to San Francisco to join the renowned design agency Fuseproject. Over the next four years, he helped design category-leading products for clients including L’Oréal, Nestlé, August, and Tiffany & Co. In 2021, he transitioned in-house at Thuma, where he’s played a key role in evolving the company from a single-product startup to a fast-growing lifestyle brand. Today, Quentin de Coster serves as Thuma’s Head of Product Design, leading the development of products that are mass-appealing and timeless. He’s known for his thoughtful approach to ecosystem design and for shaping holistic product experiences, core to building brand excellence.
