Tallin, Estonia
Renard Motorcycles has a rich history which dates back to 1938. That year, Estonian entrepreneur J. Laan defied the times and founded Renard Cycles, a motorized bicycle company. Based in the capital Tallinn, the factory was destroyed in the March 1944 bombing campaign, with only one 1938 number 2 frame remaining from that era. In 2008, the company rose from the ashes thanks to a group of Estonian entrepreneurs, designers and engineers who brought the company back to life with a mission to restore the country’s motorcycle industry. The first Renard Motorcycles prototype was unveiled at the Hanover Technology Fair in 2010. Fast forward to the present, and it’s clear that the brand’s goal was achieved. As one of the most respected names in Europe’s custom bike world, this workshop designs and builds modern, stunning bikes that honor the Renard name in style.
