Ryota Yokozeki

Ryota Yokozeki was born in Gifu, Japan. In 2008, the year he graduated from the Kanazawa College of Art, he started working at SONY as an industrial designer. He established his eponymous design studio in 2017. While focused on product design and creative direction, the designer also completes other projects; they range from furniture design, home accessories, and art to design consulting – both in Japan and internationally. Ryota Yokozeki aims to create objects that nestle naturally into everyday life and provide value while also enabling a more empathetic user experience. His work combines minimalist aesthetics with playful geometric shapes and imaginative details. Ryota Yokozeki has received many prestigious awards for his designs, including the iF Design Award, the Good Design Award Japan, and the Silver Prize at the International Design Awards.
