Serena Confalonieri is a designer and art director based in Milan, Italy. After completing her master’s degree in interior design, she worked for various architecture and design studios in Milan, Berlin, and Barcelona. She also took on an assistant professor role at Politecnico di Milano’s Interior Design school. In 2013, she launched her first design, the Flamingo rug, during Milan Design Week. As an independent designer and art director, Serena Confalonieri works on a range of projects that include product and graphic design as well as textile design. Her work often features bold shapes and colors in vibrant designs. She collaborates with both Italian and international brands; among them, Archiproducts, Altreforme, Swatch, Nodus, and Crate & Barrel USA. Magazines and newspapers that have published Serena Confalonieri’s work include The New York Times, Elle Décor, and L’Officiel.
