YH2 Architecture

Architects Marie-Claude Hamelin and Loukas Yiacouvakis founded the YH2 architecture practice in 1994. The studio is based in Montréal, Québec, and has completed various types of projects that include residential properties, offices and hotels as well as a large restoration and modernization of a tower block from the 1960s. Using simplicity and minimalism, the studio aims to focus on the essence of each project while also exploring the meaning of every integrated element. YH2’s work has been published in national and international publications, with projects also awarded various mentions and awards, including a Prize of Excellence of Architecture for La Colombière.
