Bak Gordon

Bak Gordon Arquitectos (BGA) was established in 2002 by Ricardo Bak Gordon. Ricardo Gordon’s career was launched in 1995; he won the competition for the Residence of the Portuguese Embassy in Brasília. They designed several other schools not only in Portugal but also abroad; the studio also developed partnerships with other architects, landscape architects, urbanists, and consultants. They are rooted in a strong sense and sensibility to the local features and contexts. Architecture is always a subjective equation, and their approach is based on a strategy according to the typology, and that each project has its own answer. This practice has been nationally and internationally recognized through exhibitions, publications, and prize nominations.
