Office of Architecture

Brooklyn, NY United States

OA (Office of Architecture) was established in 2012 on the premise that great spaces require the artful orchestration of vision and logistics; that ingenuity can emerge from within the limits of a problem; and that imagination need not belie common sense. OA engages each project with the design sensibility to envision the big idea and the professional savvy to realize its potential. Since founding OA in 2012, Aniket has overseen the design and execution of a variety of projects – both commissioned and speculative – that have been featured in diverse print and online publications and exhibits including Architectural Record, Wallpaper, Dezeen and Storefront for Art and Architecture. OA has received a number of awards and recognitions including nominations for Dezeen’s ‘Emerging Architect of the Year’ Award and the Illinois Institute of Technology’s Mies Crown Hall Americas Prize for Emerging Architects. Born in India, raised in the U.S., and trained as an architect in Paris, Barcelona, and New York City, Aniket brings to his work a rich set of experiences and an ability to engage diverse groups of people and projects. Prior to establishing OA, Aniket trained in a number of international architectural offices, notably Enric Miralles/Benedetta Tagliabue in Barcelona, Spain, Odile Decq in Paris, France, and Joel Sanders in New York City. He is a licensed architect in New York.
