Mexico City, Mexico
Productora is a Mexico City architecture studio founded in 2006 by Abel Perles, Carlos Bedoya, Víctor Jaime, and Wonne Ickx. The office works across houses, public buildings, and cultural projects. Plans are set up with a few decisive moves—clear structure, legible circulation, and a close read of site—then refined through models and on-site testing rather than stylistic effects.
Recent work ranges from the Teopanzolco Cultural Center in Cuernavaca (with Isaac Broid) to a temporary pavilion on Mexico City’s Zócalo and the Houston Endowment headquarters in Texas (with Kevin Daly Architects). Beyond commissions, the partners co-founded LIGA, Space for Architecture, an exhibition platform for emerging Latin American practices that keeps research and public dialogue tied to the studio’s daily work.
