STUDIOTAMAT is a Rome-based architecture and design studio founded in 2014 by Tommaso Amato, Matteo Soddu, and Valentina Paiola. The team works across residential, hospitality, and exhibition projects, often designing not just the architecture, but the interiors and furnishings as well. Their spaces are built from close observation—of place, use, and material—and shaped by a clear interest in how people actually live and move through them.
Much of their work is grounded in everyday rhythms. A kitchen built around light and storage. A hotel room that doesn’t overreach. A neighborhood restaurant that feels like it’s always been there. The design language is quiet—clean geometries, clear circulation, and honest materials handled with care. But there’s personality too.
Their process is collaborative, and the results reflect that. Each project feels tailored, not for show, but for use. Spaces are made to be lived in—with all the complexity, constraint, and occasional mess that real life brings.
