Studio Vlora is firm in Zürich–Milan comprised of Marianna Galbusera & Lajdi Sulaj (estab 2020). The office practices interior or small buildings, yet the materials are limited and plan moves are rigorous. Apartment 06 in Milan Selective demolition shaped a single, square living room whose concrete floor bears the mark of four bygone walls. Apartment 04 replicates the approach within a 1960s shell. A housing competition in Laufenburg, 2022, was awarded 2nd prize. Sulaj works as a professor in the Accademia in Mendrisio (Atelier Olgiati) where he keeps his work very tied to drawing, models and on site testing.
