Kapstok Mark is a DIY coat rack by Mark Vrinzen, a designer based in Roermond in the Netherlands. The design comes in a reusable shipping tube and is composed of four different eco-friendly elements: eight laths salvaged from an old bed base, a wooden mounting block, red cord, and a tennis ball. Easy to assemble, disassemble, and move, the design is simply bound with the tennis ball in the middle for tension and support. The resulting coat hanger stands freely and shows the process that went into upcycling and making the playful and sporty piece of furniture it is today.
